Sold an item. Then customer sent cancellation request with a note stating change of address. Now it’s only showing up as a cancel request in my account. Do I need to relist and have the buyer purchase again after updating their address in their account? Never had this happen before, not sure how to porceed.

1. Cancel the transaction using the reason that the buyer asked to cancel.
2. Email your buyer. Let them know you processed the cancellation and refund if they had paid. Ask them if they would like you to list the item again so they can purchase it and have the correct ship to address on the payment.
3. If yes, list it again and then email the buyer again with a link to the listing.
FY I a buyer does not need to update their account for a ship to address. Buyers are allowed to have any ship to address they want during the check out process. It does NOT have to be an address they have set up in their site preferences.

You cancel the sale as requested. Reason: buyer asked to cancel.
Re-list the item.
Then I would message the buyer and let them know they are welcome to purchase the item again after they change their address.
