Can’t remove Promoted listing

Well when I listed my item, I had the option to do the promoted listing. I’m a new seller, and didn’t know much, so I did the promoted listing.  However, I heard there is a fee if my item sells. Now I want to try to remove it, but I don’t know how. Can someone tell me how I can remove it? Or if I can?

Can’t remove Promoted listing

I left detailed instructions on how to remove in the prior post, post #14.

Can’t remove Promoted listing

This tip works, but also doesn't work. Sure the steps "work" but the listings are still showing up as promoted. I've tried this bulk edit 5 times and the listings are still promoted. I am having the same issue basically. I don't want to promote anymore. Would rather offer free shipping and give that savings to the customer over giving eBay more of my money. It's clear eBay makes it very easy to bulk promote all listings, but not so easy to remove it via bulk.

So nobody at ebay knows how to turn this off?

Can’t remove Promoted listing

This is an old thread.   But yes, the answer on how to remove them is in post 14 & in post 2.  It does work, I start & stop promotions all the time.

I believe you can still also end the promotion via the individual listing, if you wish.  I never do it that way b/c I have too many listings.

Keep in mind that once you end your PL's, if someone buys within 30 days & used a PL link, you're still on the hook for the PL fee.
