I have a buyer that placed two orders within minutes of each other. Normally if the items weren't combined in the cart you could go to each individual order page and add the same tracking number to both when shipping together. Now I'm getting an error saying it is already in use. Buyer's address and details are the same. This has never been a problem before with someone that purchased something in a short period of time in separate transactions. Anyone else having this problem?

Are you sure it is the exact same account that ordered both of these? Ebay seems to think that they are different buyers based on that notification

Ok I finally figured it out. Looks like they had a guest Id and then created a proper ID. They were extremely similar so I didn't notice. The only thing I was comparing was the name and address. Same address. Same person.

I'm glad you figured out why you're getting that notification. Are you going to ship them separately? Now I'm curious what you're supposed to do in that scenario lol

Ship separately. Or try to get them to agree to cancel and rebuy on the other username before your shipping cutoff.

This is a custom print order coming from my printer so the label had already been purchased and I can't cancel it now. I put in the tracking on the first order and in the second I marked it as shipped with a note that is was combined with the first item's tracking number. I'm usually very detail focused with shipping but I will definitely pay closer attention to buying IDs now.
