Can't Cancel Transaction

Buyer used Buy It Now to buy one of my records. No payment after a couple of days so sent a reminder. Said he bought it by accident and so wants to cancel. I tried to cancel the transaction but get this error:

"You can't cancel this order because there is a problem with one of the items."

What does this mean? Never seen this before. He never paid so there's no PayPal transaction or anything.

I want to cancel so I can relist and get my fees refunded. I asked the buyer to cancel but he hasn't responded.

Be sure to use the reason that the "buyer requested" the cancellation or you'll get a defect. The Buyer can only request a cancellation, the seller must instigate it.

You may want to change your payment requirements to "Immediate Payment Required" to avoid this problem in the future
