A buyer was asking for my email ad on paypal so he can complete his transaction and pay the amount, and was asking for a favor. Messaged the buyer to contact Ebay if he wants to change the shipping address. When I mentioned that my husband thinks this is a spam, the buyer stopped with his messages.

I just want to report this buyer. Thank you.

SCAM: never communicate outside of eBay;

Put them on your blocked bidders list as well.

First you need to report your post. According to the rules of engagement on these boards you cannot name and shame buyers/sellers here.
The message you received is spam no buyer needs your payment info, all they need to do is choose PayPal as their payment option at checkout.
