On November 22nd, I shipped a package to a buyer and a couple weeks later, he notified me that the package is not delivered yet. I had look at the tracking number and noticed it is sitting at a USPS facility in my state. I then opened a missing package case with the USPS then noticed today it was closed. They did not notify me via email either. I’ll contact them again tomorrow to see what’s going on. I want to know, has anyone else had the same issue too ? This is the first time it ever happened to me.

I've had that issue with USPS and they contacted me by email within 24 - 48 hours to tell me the priority mail package was "lost". About three days later I decided to put in the tracking number out of curiosity to see if they "found" the package and they had. It was lying around at some post office facility in my state two weeks when it was suppose to have been delivered to a buyer on the west coast.
My buyer was very understanding and even though I told the buyer to file an INR with eBay after the post office told me the package was "lost", the buyer did not do so. Long story short, about five days after I contacted USPS the package was delivered to the buyer.
Go back to the USPS web site and check the status of your package by putting in the tracking number.

As a buyer, I had a package appear to get misdirected and then "stuck." I contacted the seller and suggested she file a lost package claim. Several days later, the package started to move again and eventually arrived safely.
It may have just been coincidence, but I think the seller filing the claim (not really a claim, but I can't think of what it was "formally" called) is what got the package moving again. The seller said my post office contacted her and asked her some further details, and then said they were going to call the facility where the package was sitting. I think that's what got it moving . . .

Postal facilities are overwhelmed.
Look at this story from Cleveland: https://www.news5cleveland.com/news/local-news/cleveland-metro/truck-drivers-report-waiting-more-tha...
Trucks are also lined up at airports waiting to get first class and priority mail on planes.
Many POs have stopped most scanning because they don't have the time.
UPS is also overwhelmed. They've limited some regular companies to a certain # of packages per day and say if they exceed that, there accounts will be cancelled.
I just ended my listings that I can't upgrade to 1st class or priority without taking too much of a hit, but I'll probably end those in a couple of days as well.

I've had packages "stuck" in my state (according to tracking) since November. First it was one, now every package I've sent out since this past weekend shows no further progress beyond my distribution center 45 miles from here. Several yesterday (wed) that I dropped at my PO on Monday and was scanned have not (according to tracking ) left my PO yet. Meanwhile the customers for my Thanksgiving weekend Priority packages are getting antsy....
Oh yeah, and 2 media mail pkgs from Thanksgiving weekend arrived at buyers in 4 and 5 days...

Yup, same thing.
Package stuck at our sorting facility, hardly 20 miles from me.
Opened a missing package case, the USPS started an investigation in the buyer's state and then closed the case.
Not sure if I could've entered the information different when I opened the case.

Since the Monday after Thanksgiving, no packsges are on time. Nothing I have sent out after Thanksgiving weekend has arrived to the customet yet and its Dec 10th. No matter where in the country they live. Media mail moves very quickly.....just a couple of days and its there.
