I have received a request for a return. This is only the 3rd time for a return in my entire history of selling on eBay so I’m not overly familiar with the process. The buyer is stating she cannot figure out how to print a label from her account. I even sent her the link that explains the steps. Now she is requesting my return address so she can send it back on her own. Am I understanding this correctly - sellers are not to share personal info such as an address? My other two returns were completed with no problems and I was not involved with the customers in any way on those transactions.

Tell the buyer you CANNOT give them that information and that they need to open an 'official' return.

Your post is missing a few details. Was this a domestic shipment? If the buyer is international they may not be able to create a return label. Did you actually send this item or was it a drop shipment? If you drop shipped the item the return shipment will be coming back to you not the company you drop shipped from. Has the buyer actually opened a return case as stainlessenginecovers suggested and if so what is the reason for the return? If they have how have/did you respond? If this is anything other than a remorse return you should be providing the return shipping label and all they should have to do is print it.
If they have not opened a request for a return then if you wish to provide customer support you could instruct them how to do so and even provide the link.
