I was told that I can start selling Bullion on eBay starting today 1/25/21. Has that gone into effect? Also, what are the fees for Selling Bullion! Thanx!

Not sure about bullion, but if you are not 100% signed up and active in mangled payments as of today your coin sales may be temporarily halted. I am in the middle of getting mangled activation and am curious what will happen by the end of the week.

There is nothing in the "announcements." The Managed payments restricted items policy has not changed.
https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/selling-policies/managed-payments-restricted-items-policy?id=5009
Despite rumors or emails that some have reported, I can't see that anything has changed.
Maybe later today, maybe never?
I have always felt that if and when ebay officially announces that the ban was lifted and change the policy pages, then it's just "ebay noise."
I am hoping that ebay does lift the ban.
Maybe there is someone that can show today that they are now allowed to sell coins/bullion in managed payments? Please!

Why is it restricted in the first place? I wanted to list some silver recently and only found out when I went to submit a listing that I couldn't sell bullion with a managed seller acct.

Who told you that?
Was it eBay in an official announcement on the eBay site?

Absolutely false!
Another site uses the same processor and has no problems listing coins, bullion, or currency.
They also allow Canadians to list on the US site and deposit to a US bank in the US.
All these weird policies and rules are all on Ebay only they won't admit it.
Please don't spread false information because Ebays says it is true.

While I don't recall which thread I had read this info, I did see a response to this question posted yesterday by someone who claimed to be on the board or team of ebay's authority in this area stating that coins could be posted for sale staring today (01/25/2021). So, I too was under the impression that I could list the coins I had to sell. However, as I just tried to do so the listing was rejected. This "authority" stated that the delay was due to determining fees. I'm reading this thread in the process of trying to find that original statement and just as frustrated.

Just saw this on a restricted board:

Thanks for the tag (at comics-scifi-commectibles!)
Hi (at whino 777) - coins and paper money will be added to managed payments as a viable category on the 25th.
The fees for this category will be updated on (a hyperlink to some help page) when the category goes live for managed payments.
Thanks!

Regarding the email advising MP sellers that coins, etc. could be listed beginning on 25.January:
I finally got to speak with someone, stateside, regarding that e-mail.
Apparently there was an "Urgent Comms Pack" sent out (yesterday), and this category will not be eligible for listings by MP accounts until late-February for businesses, and not until 09.March for individual accounts (like me).
I had built several dozen listings in "Drafts" which I've tried unsuccessfully to activate since 25.January, but now appears I will have to re-do them in my other, non-MP, non-Top Seller, nearly-zero-feedback account. Clunk, clunk.
Obviously, I didn't see this Urgent Comms Pack message, so take this for what it's worth.

Thank you for the info!!

Hmm, I was told that 2/23 (today) was the day, but I still can't list a silver bar in the bullion category. Just got off chat and was told to "wait until tomorrow"...for some unknown reason. I asked if they meant that I would be able to list my item tomorrow...crickets. Anyway, I've been trying to list for over a month now with no help from eBay. I even asked if I could opt out or temporarily be "reverted" back to Paypal...nope! Any ideas?
