Bubble wrap source

Recently retired so no more access to used bubble wrap to ship stuff out as I down size my home. Don't know if referrals can be given "live", and if not I'd appreciate a PM referral to an eBay seller of packing materials with whom you've been happy. Otherwise I guess I just go see what I can find at the big W, but like to buy "in the family" when I can. Mobility impaired, so no dumpster diving for me!

I buy 3000 ft at a time from Uline, way cheaper than any other source I have found.   Lasts me about two years.

If you're looking for free bubble wrap, try a company that sells garage doors.

List more, sell more. Goodwill that other, uh, stuff.

Feeling sleepy? There's an app for that.

I buy 700' of 3/16 bubble and 700' of foam wrap at a time ... I don't have the storage space for anything more than that LOL

@mewgirl1

Look at my feedback ... I only have 2 on this account, but the oldest one is the supplier I have been using for 5 years without a problem (I had a coupon on this account and not on my selling or Regular buying account)

I have tried other eBay sellers because they were a little cheaper ... but have always been disappointed in the quality of the item or have had other issues, so I keep coming back to that same seller.

For free stuff, try furniture and home furnishings stores ... places that sell lighting, fans and blinds. I get some really good foam/bubble and styrofoam from one of the local furniture stores that I use for fill and extra padding (I use new stuff against the product at all times)

Also ... don't discount large pieces of styrofoam.  Cut them up into small pieces and put them in a plastic bag (make a pillow) to use as lightweight fill.

I have a stack of big pieces that I need to get to. My neighbor got herself a new 50' television and hubby brought me home some huge, odd shaped pieces that some industrial equipment were shipped to his shop in 🙂 I use an old electric carving knife ... outside, of course 😉

I second flys source for bubble.

Everyone has options. Just be sure the best option is right for you.

I use whatever I can scrounge when I scrounge it.

Including newsprint, peanuts, block styrofoam, foam wrap, air bubbles, bubble wrap, cardboard fashioned into to tubes and triangles for corners and about 10 other things I can't think of yet.

Thanks for that reminder. Several years ago I bought record album mailers from that source and was very happy with them. I've made note of that and of bubbleman's referral also.
