Blocking a bidder

I have a question. I have a car listed for sale. Someone with 0 feedback and new to ebay bid on it from another state. I contacted the bidder and asked if he plans to pick the car up if he wins the auction. He isn't responding to me and i don't have the best feeling about the situation. I added the buyer to my blocked list but his bid is remaining on the car. Must I end and relist the car to remove his bid?

Blocking a bidder

No, you don't have to relist.

Something else to consider in addition to the bbl.  Those on your bbl can still inquire about your item.  Should you not wish to receive communications from anyone on your bbl, you have to select that option.  In your account, site preferences, under buyer requirements, bottom of the list, is the option to not allow bblers to contact you.

Would recommend selecting this option given you canceled a bid and blocked the bidder, yet that bidder may have auto/snipe bids set up that won't get through.  Then he might message you some unpleasantries.......
