Best offer minimum set

I just had someone make an offer on one of my listings for lower than what I had set as the minimum offer to allow. How does that happen?

If the buyer made the offer on the actual listing, then you made a mistake and your minimum was not what you thought. If the buyer just asked you for a lower price through messages you cannot stop that.

I did not make a mistake. I double checked before I replied to the offer. They did not ask me through a message. They made an offer. That's why I think this is odd.
