I have had several buyers tell me they cannot make an offer on items I have in the adult category. I confirmed with a friend who tried to place an offer, and he said all he got was an error message from eBay when the offer was placed and that the offer did not go through. No problems on my items outside adult. Does anyone have information on this eBay error? Thanks.

Ok, Sellers, I am Very Very Happy to Report that I know the work around for the problem and I will give it to you.
Before I get to that I want to say that this issue has been going on for a very long time on the Adult site and continues into the year 2020 but not on the regular site, at least for me, I have never had an issue using the Make Offer function for a non-Adult item.
I have spent more than 8 hour talking to Ebay reps and supervisors explaining the issue for the last 2 months. To date Ebay has done absolutely nothing to fix it, not only that they do not even acknowledge the problem exists, their reps are clueless about it as well. I guess if they don't admit there is a problem they don't have to fix it and maybe it will just go away. How sad for such a big organization to be unable to fix functions in a reasonable amount of time.
So, for the last year anytime I wanted to make an offer for an Adult category item I needed to send a message directly to the seller with an offer which allowed the seller to send me an offer back. That was the only way to make an offer on the Adult site. I always told the seller the situation with the Make Offer option not working and that I have made Ebay aware of it. I also always asked the seller if they were receiving offers through the listing from other buyers, most would not answer that question but I finally did get an answer from one seller who said that they did indeed still get offers through the listing. I thought well maybe the situation was just affecting a few buyers but not all of them. I explained this to Ebay and told them they must have me blocked for some reason, even different ebay user ids on my same computer and ISP did not make a difference. It is refreshing to hear that I am not the only one that had this problem, should have Googled the issue sooner to find this post.
So, I will be calling Ebay back to raise some more hell and let them know what this work around is since they never gave it to me. I found it myself posted on one of the sellers listings that I have bought from before and had told them about the trouble I was having so either Ebay shared it with them or they discovered it themselves. I'm curious myself so I will send them a message to find out how they found out about the workaround.
So without further a due here it is:

Does anyone have valid email addresses to reach someone at Ebay? The ones posted, "brian.t@ebay.com, trinton@ebay.com, tyler@ebay.com" are not valid....
