Listing Designer was free with a premium store and suddenly it's charging me - .10 per auction and .30 per 30day FP.............What the Bleep is THIS??
Might I also add there is NO way to REMOVE LD in the new Listing Tool as the Tool doesn't support it.
This was pointed out to the blues as a problem when the New Advanced Listing Tool was introduced, but NOTHING was done about it.
So now what? I'm not going to keep listing and racking up these fees and HOPE some CSR can remove them (probably 2 invoices down the road).
WHY am I being charged for them ANYWAY when it's FREE with a Premium store.........or was.
Is this another eBay fee grab and a change in the middle of the night with no notice?
How DARE you charge for a service you took away the ability to remove?????
This needs to be fixed NOW

Yeah, well HOW MANY TIMES do you expect us to have to call? I 've called twice, and it KEEPS HAPPENING when I use the bulk relister. It just keeps adding that extra 30 cents per listing and then KEEPS IT ON MY LISTINGS so I can be charged again and again. FYI sellers have far better things to do with their time than fight to have overcharges removed.. and the last time I called they simply told me "I was on the list" and it would be "taken care of" which of course it wasn't. This has resulted in hundreds of dollars in unnecessary fees and I am ONE **bleep** OFF TOP RATED SELLER. When is this going to be fixed? Cause if you folks keep it up, I will sell elsewhere.

Can we see what a problem this is now?
I don't know why this wasn't addressed months ago. And no, ending every listing which has LD and starting from scratch is NOT a viable alternative for those without TurbboLister. Not to mention the extra listing fees that incurs.
eBay decided not to support LD, then give sellers a way to remove it AND STOP CHARGING for it.

My OP still stands.
I think it's disgusting that they are charging for a feature they have given sellers no way to remove.
How ebay is that?

Hi @lookng2015, definitely understand the frustration and I can reiterate my recommendation to contact Customer Service about this issue and end any listings that still have this feature applied. For those sellers who have a large number of listings, our Customer Service teams may be able to pursue workarounds to assist with removing this feature.

This is not true! I have called 5 times, each time they say they have fixed it and a few months later it shows up again. If I don't watch my invoice, they continue to STEAL from me a feature they neither advertise nor give an option to remove!

that is **bleep**. Listing designer was FREE with a premium store. You have NO RIGHT to just start charging us sellers for it and then tell us "if you don't like it just re-create the listing" Many of us have THOUSANDS of listing running on ebay daily. Ebay needs to find a way to stop charging their good sellers (you know.. the ONES WHO DO ALL THE WORK SO YOU EBAY EMPLOYEES HAVE A PAYCHECK) for something with NO notification and NO way to remove it. OUR time is valuable.
Ebay needs to fix this!

I am having the SAME PROBLEM and I agree. They have no business charging us for something that was supposed to be free. Its their foul up.. they need to fix this.
I never asked for the new seller hub.. it was forced upon me after years of using (and preferring) selling manager pro.
I called several times and got lip service and zero response from their "help" people.
I finally started messaging them on their facebook page regarding the issue (the red icon) and I got a response, a refund of all listing designer fees but then they had the nerve to tell me that IF I DIDN"T WANT TO KEEP GETTING CHARGED for listing designer I should RECREATE my listing!
I have on any given day between 2-3 thousand listing running on ebay.
WHO THE HECK has time to do that? I certainly do not.
This is the most ridiculous foul up I have ever experienced with ebay and then NEED TO FIX THIS.
If they cannot fix it.. then then NEED TO STOP CHARGING US FOR IT.
End of story.
Quite honestly, after over 12 years of selling here full time, I am ready to close shop here and move my products to their competitors sites because of this issue.
I now have about half my listings in Unsold as they ended, and am ready to end the good till canceled ones till this issue gets fixed.

I agree! If they cannot fix the problem they created, then they should not be charging us a penny!

I finally got them to refund me nearly 500 dollars in listing designer fees. I typically have between 2 & 3 thousand listings running on ebay daily I have not been renewing listings as they have ended... and am ready to end my good till canceled ones and close up shop here till this issue is fixed. I was told " just recreate your listings" if I didn't want to keep getting charged listing designer fees. What absolute Horse**** !!! Who has time for that? I don't. If you have any pointers on how you went about this in turbo lister, I would appreciate them, since ebay isn't being helpful on this. I have never used turbo lister before.

I totally agree with you. Ebay is ripping us off!

Basically, as your listings end, import them into Turbo then select all and under Edit, edit LD and choose do NOT use LD, then upload them back to eBay sans LD.
According to eBay, LD was never free with a premium store but was free to users of Selling Manager Pro (to which I say horse puckey).
To stop the charges see my advice in Message #4 on this thread
