Avoiding eBay Fees...has something changed? Contact info within Descriptions

Have the rules changed...contact info within an Items description?

Such as a telephone number contact to avoid fees

Is it the high value of a item that makes it o.k.? What exactly is that figure?

Report ALL of those auctions to ebay. They are either avoiding fees or they are true scammers out to rob you if picking up in person or getting you to pay for something using gift cards.  It's prohibited. If you contact ebay at Facebook and have the seller's ID, I am sure that those ads will be taken down  quicker.

I see now we cannot specifically give the Item Example I find to be in question (removed by Moderator)

So, let me ask, can I put a line within my Item Description that looks like this ....

Send me a text message or give me a call..My Number is below

you are allowed to have your phone number in the ASQ

over in the UK all of the contact info is usually listed because its required at the bottom of the page

her in the USA some sellers post a picture of all the contact info to make a sale off of ebay

ebay still does nothing to many  sellers who do this

its just like counterfeits...some seller post them for years and ebay does absolutely nothing about them while just giving  lip service

Of course not.  That message would imply that you are wanting to do an off-eBay transaction specifically to avoid fees.

What happens if you report a listing that contains such information?

I have reported my competition a few times for having all the contact info out there but ebay does nothing

its the same thing they do when a counterfeit is reported

reports are kept  track of but there  is never any action

ebay will tell you "keep sending those reports"
