First item was $32 was relisted at $2, sold immediately. Second item was I think $78.
(Once sold pricing records are deleted according to Ebay) relisted for $35 again sold immediately. I don't have easy pay on, hate having button for it. Has anyone else had this happen to them? I spent all day yesterday on phone with ebay
got nowhere.

Yup, this has happened to me several times. It always happens with GTC. Also, pay attention to quantities available - especially if you have variation listings. I've had those "magically" change as well and ended up selling a variant that was out of stock.
If you search threads, this has been going on for YEARS on the GTC listings.

Okay, had a brain freeze. Auto relists can't happen now except for auctions, so by auto relist do you mean a GTC rollover?

If eBay relists at a lower price than the original listing, are you free to cancel without penalty or do you have to sell or take the hit for cancelling?
My guess you have to sell or take the penalty for cancelling but it would seem you should be able to appeal that.
Wow, using GTC is sure risky if that is what the site is doing. Better to cancel the listings at day 29 than have to double check they relisted it right.

I've used gtc for years and haven't ever had that happen. It would be very frustrating if it did happen though.

Both times it happened to me items sold within 2 hours.

I'm sorry that this has also happened to you, but glad someone else has experienced this. Ebay says it has never happened before. Impossible to reach a manager apparently they have to finish all their work before returning calls(it's been about 2 -3 weeks now), at least I don't have multiples on items. I love your description of it magically changes lol.

They had me ask the customer to cancel. The first one was fine with that but second sale was irritated because she also wanted matching necklace at 60% off. After reading your post I better check to see if they dinged me for it. Thanks

Yes, very frustrating especially since I can't get a callback from a manager.
Big Shareholders meeting today at Ebay so not surprising nobody is returning calls, especially since the CEO says that all is great at Ebay and business is going just as expected. Nobody wants to say anything negative that might get seen or heard so nothing will be resolved until next week, if then.
