Automated offers

I've received two email messages here in the past week from folks who want to "unsubscribe" from my list. Since I've not sent out any email blasts with coupons lately, I'm assuming they are referring to my automated best offers on items from my store they have looked at.  The latest message said, "No more. I don't want your stuff."
In order to stay in compliance with regulations for opt out, does eBay have an exclusion list that we can add these folks to so that they will NOT  receive any of these automated offers on items they may have looked at, clicked on, etc.? My fear is that if they get another offer after they have dutifully opted out from my offers, They could complain to the FTC because I have not acted according to their opt out.

If I put them on my Blocked Bidders list, would that keep them from getting these automated offers, AND from receiving my buyer emails, if they are already on the buyers list?

Thanks! This is a new one on me, and it's unusual that I've had two requests this week.

Automated offers

Very weird, and I agree, they're probably getting your best offers but they would only get those if they watch or view your items, so I don't know why they're getting so upset.

I'd say just block them and don't worry about whether they still get anything, as you'll never hear from them again (blocked buyers can't message you, though they won't know that they're blocked unless they try to buy something).

An FTC complaint could only really go against eBay, you're not managing the list of who receives messages, so you're not liable.
