For some reason for the past week Ebay's website is auto cropping my photos. I have complained twice now and still it is messed up. As I sell Sports cards it is unacceptable to have the tops and bottoms of the cards cut off and zoomed in so far. I have taken my pictures and uploaded them to my laptop the same way for months with zero issues. Does anyone by chance have any solution or know if this issue is being addressed?

You probably want to make your images squares not rectangles.

I wasn’t aware that there was an issue. I looked at your listings and didn’t see any cropped images.
I’ve been listing daily and haven’t seen that with my images. They upload from my PC the same as I create them.

I have not listed anything Since this issue started. So all of my existing listing are from when everything was working correctly.

I'm guessing they are talking about the way they are displayed. Some devices eBay modifies what is displayed if they arent square. The bottom and top will be cut off unless you click the image.

And this is something that just changed in the past week? Because I have never had any issues before...

No, it's been that way for awhile.
But since your issue doesn't involve your current issue I don't know what to tell you.

So the fact that I have never had an issue before this past week means what? I have listings scheduled for tonight and they are super cropped and look terrible. Even when i check the photos for the scheduled listing they are still cut off

As Robbie said, on the app eBay displays lead images as squares in search results, and if the lead image is a rectangle the top/bottom or sides will get cropped off to fit into that square. When a buyer opens the listing they'll see the full image.
eBay's been testing a lot of display changes in both search and listing view on the web, so it wouldn't surprise me if you started seeing the same thing happen on the website recently.
A good rule is to use square photos for your lead image. If you can't crop into a square, then increase the size to a square with white edges added on either the sides or top/bottom as relevant.

That explains why your images looked fine to me.

If they aren't square they get cut.

I use PC and iPad, both with browser. So I’m seeing images the same on both devices with no odd cropping.

I'm using the website not the app and it will not let me change anything about the image. I cant zoom in/out or change the white cropping lines. all I can do is crop further and that cuts off even more. So I guess a potential fix for their error is to change my images to squares? How do I do that?

Well I'm looking on my Samsung phone and they adjusted to square.
