I have always had the best offer auto accept/auto decline feature set on all my auctions and it has worked without a glitch. However, the past 5 offers I've received over the course of a week (on 5 completely different items) haven’t worked. Attached is the setup of my latest listing this happened with; I received an offer for $4.00 and had to manually accept the offer when I logged back in. This is having a negative impact on my business because I have a hard enough time getting buyers to pay for auctions - 90% of the time I have to open an unpaid item case. However, they usually pay if I accept the offer right away (and don’t usually pay if it’s left lingering). Can anyone provide any insight or explanation as to why this might be happening? I appreciate any help, thank you.

I believe that the automatic accept and decline will not work for offers where the buyer has made any entry in the comment section. Could this be the reason?

Partly true.
Any comment in the offer disables auto-accept.
It does not affect decline, though. It doesn't even look at comments if the price offered is under the auto-decline amount.

Thank you for your responses - I didn't realize the comments would disable the auto-accept/auto-decline, so good to know! However, only 1 of the 5 aforementioned listings actually had a comment. If anyone has any other ideas as to why this is happening, I would greatly appreciate any advice. Thank you so much.
