Hello,
i purchased a pair of sneakers which went for authentication and passed and were shipped to me. After a month i post the same sneakers and were sold, they needed to go to authentication but failed inspection and ebay refunded the buyer and they are shipping the sneakers back to me. How is it possible that it failed if they passed it the first time? Service team is no help and i feel like i cant trust this program after buying multiple sneakers which went through authentication.

Thats a tough one since there is no way you could prove to ebay or anyone else that its the same pair of sneakers. For all practical purposes, one transaction has nothing to do with the other.

I could prove they were the same sneakers because they had certain scratches on the leather and patent leather since they were used sneakers, even though the service rep agreed with this they would need the npc tag to prove it was the same sneakers.

Looking at your photos, it's probably because they didn't match your description.
Your photos, looks like some damage/defects on the bottoms, but nothing in your description about it.

Hey,
No damage on the soles of the shoes except on the leather and patent leather which I pictured separately. They said, "Authenticity can't be determined".

I guess Authenticity is not guaranteed.

The same thing just happened to me! I’m furious. I bought a Chanel bag. It was authenticated and sent to me. I recently listed and sold it. The Authenticator now says the bag has been painted. The Buyer doesn’t want it now. I’m the loser! I lost the sale and although authentic, eBay says I can’t relisted it with an authenticity guarantee because it’s been, “customized”. Why didn’t the catch that when I bought it???!!! I relied on them. Not only that, but I wouldn’t even know unless I went through authentication again. I am so mad 😤
Their authentication failed! I think they should refund me and take the bag. Any ideas?

It’s a GUARANTEE. I don’t care which Authenticator reviewed it. They should own their mistake and refund you. If you screw up, they make you own it. This is very one-sided.
