Authenticity Guarentee - Trading Cards

I recently sold a couple of baseball cards that ended up selling for more than $500. In my experience any trading card that sold for more than $250 went to a site for it's authencity to be guarenteed. These two did not for some reason. Does anyone know if Ebay got rid of this? I appreciated it.

Was it an auction or a buy it now?

I thought the AG went into the buy it nows.

I thought auctions did not have an AG.

I am not as experienced as others but perhaps this is the reason? More experienced folks will be along shortly.....

Please disregard my previous post.

Have you read this policy? Maybe it has to do with your cards? It's a long policy, I only cut and pasted a little bit.

Raw and graded trading cards are eligible for Authenticity Guarantee if they meet the following criteria:

  • Cards must be one of the following:
    • Collectible Card Game Single Cards
    • Sports Trading Card Singles
    • Non-Sports Trading Card Singles
  • Graded cards must be from the following graders only:
    • Beckett
    • PSA
    • Certified Collectibles Group
    • SGC
