I'm starting to get at risk account emails from Ebay. I've decided to end the auctions and BIN listings. Will this help?

The listings would disappear for about a month.

You didn't provide a lot of details. What did eBay indicate was the reason for your account being "at risk"?

No - ending items doesn’t help your service metrics. You have issues in the past that are putting your account at risk. To improve the situation, ship items on time, send the right item, and manage issues without eBay having to step in.

It is simple; as pointed out already, all you have to do is ship what has been ordered within your handling time. The sooner the better. Make sure the item is what is ordered. Do not sell stuff that you have no idea if they works. Make sure the pictures show the item as is with all its flaws. Make sure the description matches the item.

Waiting until the defects fall off is not going to help you if you return and engage in the same selling practices. You have to become a better seller.

You need to know you are at risk BEFORE YOU GET AT RISK ACCOUNT EMAILS FROM EBAY.

You need to review and understand the metrics used to rate your seller level. REVIEW AND UNDERSTAND everything used to determine your seller level:

It is all a numbers game. Understand the numbers and percentages. More sales are good for your numbers - but you need more sales WITHOUT DEFECTS. Understand the numbers in your seller dashboard. Be proactive, take action to correct problem areas (before eBay tells you). Auctions and BINS sales are a good thing and help your numbers - if they happen without additional defects.
