Another Promotion glitch

I received in Messages - 200 Free listings from 6/21 to 6/25.

Not seen on my Promotion page.

I went back to message and activated it. It returned that I had already activated it. I hadn't.

I relisted 1 item. It denoted no fee even though I had no free listings left.

I was charged $38 for a $200 sale and I was told my listing was free! I'm not sure I want to keep doing business here. Partially due to the fact that I have to wait a month to get my money yet I have 3 days to release my product! I am disappointed they should make these things clear from the beginning. I'm selling my collections because I need the money for bills!! I sell a $1300 purse for $200 and after the fees and paying shipping myself I am making a little less than $120 on a Louis Vioutton!! Grrr

I'm so glad somebody else posted about this.

I thought I was crazy for a minute there.

I got this promotion too, I activated it & it's working,

but it's not showing up in my promotions section.

However, I listed a couple of things with no fee,

& it didn't subtract them from my regular monthly listings so it is working for me.

You can get free listings on eBay, but you will always have to pay the selling fees, called Final Value Fees, or FVF.  Until you have build up 25 feedback and over $250 in sales, unfortunately your payments will be held. But if you ship quickly, your money will be available in 3 days after it has been delivered. You can also ask customers to pay for shipping.

Remember to set the price for your items reasonably. If it's underprices, it certainly will sell fast, but then you are out on profit.

There is an awful lot to read up on before selling on eBay. Nothng is truly free here.

Thanks for posting this.   I don't check my ebay messages all that often - relying on the promotion list at the bottom of the seller's page so I might have missed this.

Same here.  Thanks for letting us know it works even though it doesn't show up on the promotional listing section.  I was reluctant to test it since I don't want to use up my remaining monthly allotment yet.

Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, it's always something.
It does seem to be working but of course it's best to keep an eye on anything and everything.

As OP - I am still not seeing this promotion in promotional area with counts used and left.

Link to activate from my message still denotes that I have activated it when I know that I didn't.

I thought this glitch would be fixed by now.

I went to activate it and it shows it is expired....... go figure.
