Another NEW Listing Tool Issue - Shipping Options

So today I listed a couple of items.  Noticed a change in how the shipping portion looked (thought something was wrong).  It is more difficult to change the class of mail and I had to opt in to global shipping each time (even though I have been using it for several years now).  I don't get the constant changes that do not help things but makes listing more difficult.  I will get used to it...but probably just in time for it to be changed once again.  Can eBay get it to where the default for always using global shipping program to come back?  Please???  I don't need more steps to remember to check that used to be set.

Does creating a template work/help?  Use sell similar?  I do agree, it is cumbersome!

I noticed that as well.  The promoted shipping options have magically disappeared.  If only the whole notion would vanish....

I sell a lot of different types of items so templates don't really work well for me.  Up until yesterday the last item listed was the default.  I would have to change the shipping method, but global shipping was always set.  Just another annoying change

It seems to be working today.  I am wondering if I was just "lucky enough" to be listing in the midst of the update.  I guess I would say it seems to be "solved" at this point

I was just revising a listing & the global shipping is marked blue. Also the Add additional shipping service is marked blue. I never wanted to add additional shipping---the reason I use the global shipping is so I will not have to deal with the hassle. If these are marked blue that does mean those services are added, correct? What a PAIN!
