Add attribute to variants?

So our listing software seems to me a little clunky or something.

We have an item with 4 variations under 1 attribute Length. Our inventory is actually 8 variations under 2 attributes Length and Color.

We are missing 4 SKU on Ebay. Whats the correct process to add this?

Inkfrog which is the listing software suggest we end the listing, remove it from their DB, re-add them and sync to be able to push the complete set of listing but by doing so will loose sale data.

It sounds like Ink Frog is having trouble with variation listings. Save the sales history by editing the listing on eBay instead of Ink Frog.
