Active Content

I agree with you! When I check "preview" on my listing to see change with Active Content removed, I absolutely see NO difference! When revising a listing I've checked on the "view if mobile ready" and most of the time it tells me that this feature is not working! I think I'll just let them remove the Active Content when the time comes and go from there!

Active Content

@cedaroak35

Active Content adds functionality to the description area and is usually added by using a description template or third party service.  Content like cross-sell scrollers, tabbed terms, and clickable photo galleries are often active content. I scanned your listings and you have none of these, so you have nothing to worry about. the advisory message is displayed to all sellers as a reminder that any active content in their listings will no longer function next month.

I scanned your 124 listings and 33 of them do contain active content. Those are the items shown as red rows on this tool.

Yours contain a leftover script from an Auctiva add-in of some sort, perhaps a visitor counter. It appears to have no current function in your page, so when eBay turns off active content, you won't miss it. However, eBay is not "removing" active content. It will still be in your listings and eBay will continue to send you notices.

Eventually, in the months to come, eBay will prevent those items from relisting.  In your case, the script is below the horizontal line that appears under your text, so it might be possible for you to revise the problem listings and simply highlight everything from your last letter onward and then delete that entire remainder.
