Account suspended

My account was suspended for no reason.

I received email from eBay in which eBay says "We wanted to let you know that you have been temporarily restricted from selling and buying on eBay because of concerns about your seller account. This must be frustrating, but measures like these help keep our marketplace safe for everyone"

When I talk eBay customer service care so he says my account permanently suspended. Why?

@usa*best*mart

First off, it looks like you were drop shipping from a retailer which is not allowed.  Your selling ID is misleading because you're located in Pakistan, not the US.  There's always a reason to be suspended.  If you cannot follow the rules on eBay you cannot sell here. Sorry.

Good luck in the future.

Re: Account suspended

Your Ebay ID and your location are very deceitful. LOOK in my ebay for messages.  THere should be an email there from ebay with an explanation.

Re: Account suspended

What do you say? I live in Pakistan.
Yes, I live in Pakistan, it's true.
Ebay allowed me so I created an account in Pakistani location.
How can I create an account with a Pakistani address if eBay doesn't allow it?
And how do you say I was dropshipping.
Many people are dropshipping in USA.
I am one of them. I work in the USA with USA Partners.
I am drop shipping in USA on USA accounts.
If eBay allows drop shipping in the US, why didn't eBay allow me to dropship?

Let me tell you that I am a wholesaler on Amazon.

@usa*best*mart

If you drop ship from a 3rd party retailer it is against eBay policy as I stated earlier.  Most of us here are experienced veteran sellers of over 20 years and can spot that type of selling behavior right away, especially when they come here to complain that their account was suspended. You have been a seller for 6 months.  You didn't take the time to read the rules of what you can and cannot do on eBay.  Being inexperienced and taking the selling route that you did is almost a guarantee for disaster.   Since you neglected to read the rules you violated eBay policy and now you permanently suspended, which means you can never sell on this e commerce platform again.  Here's a link that can perhaps help you understand, as being argumentative and trying to justify your selling behavior here on the forum is not helping your situation:

Drop shipping and product sourcing

"However, listing an item on eBay and then purchasing the item from another retailer or marketplace that ships directly to your customer is not allowed on eBay. Activity that doesn’t follow eBay policy could result in a range of actions including but not limited to: administratively ending or canceling listings, hiding or demoting all listings from search results, lowering seller rating, buying or selling restrictions, loss of buyer or seller protections, and account suspension. All fees paid or payable in relation to listings or accounts on which we take any action will not be refunded or otherwise credited to your account."

Again, I wish you well with future career opportunities.

Re: Account suspended

We wanted to let you know that you have been temporarily restricted from....

@usa*best*mart

Temporarily restricted messages typically ask you to provide additional information.  Did they ask you to provide any documents or information?  Did you do it?

In the meantime, eBay is in the process of removing your SOLD items as well, which is not a good sign.

There is some discussion here about drop shipping.  It is allowed.  Retail arbitrage (where you purchase the product after you make a sale and have it shipped to your buyer) is NOT allowed.  Though similar, they are not the same process, and if eBay suspects you of engaging in the latter you can get banned permanently.

I can speculate:

Because you engaged in a type of dropshipping that eBay does not allow.

Because eBay decided you were engaging in deceptive practices related to both your location and the location of the goods.

Because "USA-Best-Mart" is a User-ID that is similar to others we've seen here, used by sellers outside the United States, to make it seem at first glance as though the seller is Best Buy, and eBay has had complaints about that.  Or, because there are several companies already operating in the USA under the name Best Mart LLC, and eBay has had complaints about its use otherwise.

That's for starters.

Re: Account suspended

There is always a reason.  How can you have a name with USA and be in Pakistan.  That is false advertisement.  That might have been the reason right there.  Goodluck.

Re: Account suspended

A lot of the times the notifications are very generic because they are reused templates set for multiple different reasons.

I'd contact eBay via Facebook facebook.com/eBayForBusiness

They are able to look into your account and give you much more specific information.

@green_shop_sale

Or they were drop shipping from a retailer and that's not allowed. It also appears you may be doing it as well.  So you are not following policies as well. Not mention item location misrepresentation which is a violation too.   Here's a link on what I mentioned:

Drop shipping and product sourcing

"However, listing an item on eBay and then purchasing the item from another retailer or marketplace that ships directly to your customer is not allowed on eBay. Activity that doesn’t follow eBay policy could result in a range of actions including but not limited to: administratively ending or canceling listings, hiding or demoting all listings from search results, lowering seller rating, buying or selling restrictions, loss of buyer or seller protections, and account suspension. I'd be careful if it was me.

Happy Selling.

Re: Account suspended

Without knowing the particulars, no one here can do more than just guess. We are fellow buyers snd sellers like yourself.

I can see only the thumbnails of two of your completed items, but when i click on them, it states the listing is not available. Do you sell under another account? I see a listing identical to one of yours. We may be able to see what might have caused a suspension by examining live or completed listings. Good luck to you and sorry this happened.
