Account Verification in progress

So my seller account is restricted (in which I have absolutely no reason as to why) but it states that my account verification is in progress and that once it's complete, the restrictions will be lifted. This has been in this status now for 3 months - surely it doesn't take that long for them to review the account? 

I've contacted the customer service team by email, phone and live chat several times, only to be told that I have to wait 48 - 72 hours for an email to come through with an update on my account, this email must be a ghost as I have never once received it. 

I've only sold 1 item on my account so far, it's a personal account that is not business related,  I just can't understand what the issue is?!

I would be in touch with ebay every day until I get some answers.

The thing is, it's incredibly time consuming. I'm by no means an everyday user, hence why I'm baffled!

I've contacted them again today, no doubt it'll be the same response... Think I'll use Vinted in future.

@lucas_2505         This is primarily a board of US sellers........and you are in the UK........there are different rules/procedures....are you contacting the UK?...........  just a thought..........

Just to confirm, are you looking in your email, or your eBay messages for the update?  Your messages might not get forwarded to your email, so it'd be well worth checking your eBay messages.
