Quick Facts:
This is my first real attempt to sell products from manufacturers and merchant on eBay under myself using my own name and with a legit LLC.
Sold for about 1 and ½ month, this is the data and stats:
Sales: 404
Sales Amount: 8.6k
Transaction defect rate: 1 of 404 Transactions
Late shipment rate: 3
Closed without seller resolution: 1
Feedback: 165
Feedback score: 99.4%
Negative Feedback: 1
These stats are extremely good, I use tracking, free returns, and even my return rate is good, my customer feedback was amazing and everything on my only self-owned business seller account went really good in such a little amount of time, this should at least prove something of value to eBay and its team members.
My mom's best friend in China is an engineer and was storing inventory at a USA warehouse, and it was only costing him so he gave it to me to try to sell. (flash drives, etc).
My buddy and I tried to have an account once (it was under him) and we tried splitting tasks and orders every other week. He was honestly terrible, careless, and didn't ship out orders on time or care to. He was down for the free money and with a 50% equal deal, his part in the business was really no good.
Cases were terrible and the account got suspended because of this and my name was attached to it, as we told eBay we were working and trying this out together.
I am not going to say I am perfect or anything, but I wanted to try to prove myself with eBay under my own identity. I have a legit supplier and never was warned of being restricted for anything specific, they wont tell me 'why' I am suspended, they say telling me this information will somehow harm others which I cannot even wrap my mind around.
The right thing to do is to tell someone what they did wrong or are doing wrong, so they can try to RIGHTLY fix the problem. Because they wont tell me I am suspecting it had to do with my buddies account, but am honestly unsure of this because one representative actually said on the phone that it didn't have anything to do with another account?? Honestly, for the life of me
I cannot think of any other reason for being restricted and I will try every last resort possible to try to appeal this, because I truly think that something is wrong here.
I did an AMAZING job for the small period of time that I was on here and I 100% ship everything myself and have inventory on me. They didn't ask for any letter, explanation, or anything regarding me on the account, just to upload all my files, including the article of organization for the business (which I have and created specifically to use for eBay). I am not sure if this has anything to do with it but the article file is 5.5k mb and when I tried to upload it said the file was too big, so instead I took a screen shot of both pages, as there was no other way for me to upload it.
I wrote an extensive letter to try to provide eBay with every single detail about any past account history to try to solve this problem but I keep getting told that I cannot dispute this case further, and am not even sure if my account history has anything to do with it.
I honestly will not give up on this because I do not think I was rightly or fairly evaluated, or that my individual situation was heard or considered whatsoever. I really have no idea what I personally did wrong to eBay, but my last attempt with the letter I wrote should be heard by someone and evaluated fairly. If I get denied after this, at least I know I was heard and I honestly wouldn't understand, but would have to accept whatever reason I am a risk to the ebay community. I just wish I knew why because I had an amazing performance.. and it's really heartbreaking and so upsetting 😞
I have many plans to expand and grow, and it saddens me greatly that I am not able to be heard and rightly dispute this selling restriction. I have been welcomed to another seller site, but I love eBay and do not want to give up on being able to grow with you guys. I do think letting me go is a mistake, and that I should be an asset to eBay, not a risk..
My goal is to at least be heard and disputed fairly with a full explanation of everything. I am not sure how I can do this, as I get denied by every customer service representative. Please please help with any information possible. I'd appreciate anything actually helpful other than that I am not welcome and I should just go find another place.
I really do appreciate anyone's time, effort, and help in the matter, as I really want to be a part of eBay and it's selling community.

sometimes if two seller accounts show up on the same mac address, ip address, isp, etc and god forbid you guys bid on each others auction, one or both accounts are usually suspended with NO recourse. You are welcome to use buy it now to buy each others listings but "shill bidding" is the kiss of death on ebay. Their servers in the sky do all the work for them. I may be related to an increase in sales too quickly but they usually ask you for supporting info when that happens to review the situation.
Also, is your late shipment rate 3%?

"He was down for the free money"
I've been on eBay for over 20 years and have yet to see any free money. If you're saying he took money and didn't send anything that is a problem. Even if you attempted to right the wrongs and pay the debt you'd still have issues.
If the stuff was given to you you're not out much. Most sellers can only dream of free inventory...

You didn't include the message that eBay sent when you were suspended, but this ^^^ is the reason. Sorry.

If you created a new account to circumvent the suspension on another account, then you violated eBay policy.

I see a number of things that probably contributed to your restriction. First of course your association with a restricted account. I've never heard of anyone coming back from that. But, I guess eBay gave you a second chance.
Then you got got a neg and 2 neutrals out of just 103 feedback. The 2 neutrals probably should have been negs. The 2 neutrals say you sold a defective product and one that was not as described. The neg says that you sold them an item that was supposed to be a brand but wasn't.
We can't see if you had a lot of returns for not as described items, but I'm suspecting you did.
All these together probably contributed to your permanent suspension, and I don't see you coming back from all this.

Lesson learned I guess, eBay's sandbox not yours, sorry about this but there is nothing that can be done.

Once an eBay account is suspended like your first effort, there is rarely a way back. Your buddy really messed up, and dragged you right down with him. Altho you generated a number of successful new sales on your own merit, that first failure has come back to haunt you.
It looks like there were some struggles on your second attempt as well. Having a case closed without seller resolution is a serious offense in eBay’s eyes. Thus, there is little forgiveness to be found when there are multiple violations. Very sorry this happened to you. Wish you much success on your next venture.

No not at all, sorry I meant he was down for the free money because my moms best friend from China gave me the product to sell for free, it was great product in really good condition, by buddy was down for the 'free money' because of the donated product, and he cared less about the actual business aspect and trying to use the money to expand etc.. We 100% were shipping all of our products though, never were trying to scam anyone

That wasn't my intention, I figured I could try it on my own and do way better than we tried to do it together, and since it wasn't under my name I figured I would give it a go. I proved correct in my assumption that I would do good, but to eBay I do not think they really took that into consideration which they should because I am honestly not a threat to eBay. 😕 idk all good, I just need to move on sadly I guess.

Flash drives, from China?
I am going to guess you didn't know...
Let me put it this way, I pay extra NOT to buy anything memory drive from there.
Hacked flash drives are a really big problem here.
Really big, huge.
It's like the crime of the century nobody can do nothing about.
If this was the reason, that's probably why they won't or can't tell you but it's just a guess.
I will say this, whatever the reason ...
On an indefinite restriction it's going to be close to impossible to get back to selling on ebay.

There was definitely nothing bad about or wrong with them.. The guy was my moms best friend from childhood growing up, I've known him since I was young and would trust him with my life honestly, and he is currently living in china and is an engineer.. He just designed his own product and had problems selling in america so he offered for me to sell them to try to start my own biz. They honestly were legit, but idk, this all just stinks. 😕 kinda in love with eBay 😞

So you were selling counterfeit stuff from your "mom's best friend" gave you and you're shocked you got nailed... gotcha

But looking at your sold listings, those are all brand named items from different companies. If those are the items your mom's friend had in the warehouse, they are likely counterfeit items. If he designed them himself, they would be a generic brand. It seems to me a eBay seller with inventory he could not get rid of passed them onto you. I hate to tell you this but your mom's friend lied to you. He knows they are fake.
When I want to buy a drive like you were selling, I will only buy from a US seller selling a legit drive. I'd rather pay more for a legit drive than less for a counterfeit one. As the saying goes, "if it is too good to be true, it is". No one gives away stuff worth a lot for free.
