About feedback issues

After selling or buying a product, if the concerned person does not put the feedback about the product, are there any actions we can take to get them? Because feedback is useful for us on ebay.

About feedback issues

Hi @nimher_93

Feedback for BOTH Buyers and Sellers is optional and can be left up to 60 days then it cannot.  Nobody gets "forced" to leave it.  You will find over time that in the categories you sell in a certain % of Buyers will leave FB and the rest will not.

I don't recommend asking for it or putting notes in packages about it, etc.  Let it happen naturally.

Mine has been consistent over the years floating between 50% and 60% for Buyers leaving FB ...

As a Seller I leave it for Buyers when the label is printing.  If they reciprocate great, if not great but I don't have to worry about it.  I don't play the FB game and wait to see if a Buyer leaves it for me first ... I leave it and it is done ...

Actually, the purpose of feedback is to rate the seller, not the product.

About feedback issues

One of the very first things a seller needs to learn about selling on eBay is that FB is entirely voluntary/optional for both buyer and seller.

That means that neither partner in a transaction is required to leave FB.

And, regarding buyers not leaving FB for sellers, it's unwise for a seller to remind the buyer or to ask.  Sometimes a transaction is not 100% wonderful in the buyer's eyes, but he decides against leaving FB.  When the seller reminds him, he may be irritated and leave FB the seller does not really want on his record.
