I think if you have less than a thousand transactions you can only have 2 defects in a 12 month period before you fall below standard. If you have over a thousand its 0.5% of transactions can have defects.
When was your first defect? Once a year passes from then you will go back up.
Also, you could find some cheap items and sell them at cost to generate 92 more sales quickly so it pushes you over a thousand transactions.
Why aren't you closing your refunds? You pretty much just have to accept that buyers WILL get their money back if they want to, and that means you're going go get ripped off by unscrupulous buyers now and again. It's better just to write those off than take a defect for it. If you have a disagreement with the buyer and cannot work it out, always contact Ebay about it and sometimes they can actually be helpful. Just dont let them get escalated for any reason because like I said, they will get their refund one way or another, it's just a matter of if you receive a defect in the process

I ran out of time to edit, but after looking at the evaluations page, you can only have 0.30% of cases closed without seller resolution to stay above standard. With 3 out of 908 transactions you are at 0.33 percent. Still, that means you need to get to over a thousand transactions to go back above standard

Your seller performance is measured over the past rolling year period - not the whole time you have been a seller on eBay.
You only hope to recover is sell a lot of stuff and avoid another defect. When you fall below standard it is not a good thing. GL
You are in the UK I am in the US and here is what US sellers must meet - I assume it is similar to the the UK but only you will know.

I don't mean this to be harsh, but start by accepting returns for any reason. This is clearly how eBay wants you to run your business. If your sales can't cover the expense of returns you should find other things to sell.
Good luck!

I had this happen once too. Major sucky. Kept listing but my next one didn't drop off for 10 months and for 10 months my sales were awful. I lost thousands of dollars. If you call they will be nice but they wont help you. Tried Ebay for Business on facebook until they kicked me off. They are heartless in this area. I went from top rated seller plus to below average within just one strike. Unless you do the math, you wont see it coming. And its hard to make up for it in sales when ebay is pushing your items down in search. Its a whacked system really. Its unreal they haven't fixed this as this was a few years ago for me right after they had made major changes to the seller dashboard. If any of your stikes are fairly new, see if you can get it taken off or hopefully it wont be long before one of them falls off.

I don't know if the seller requirements are the same in the UK as they are in the USA. If they are, run some sales and do what you can to get as many sales as you can before the end of the month. Dilute those numbers. More transactions will help you since you are just a little over the limit.
You do however avoid allowing INADs to be escalated to Ebay for resolution. That is what causes those defects. Take care of your buyer BEFORE anyone asks Ebay to step in and that will prevent those defects.
So add more listings, cut prices where you can. Do what you can to get as many transactions before the end of the month. Then when you are eval'd again on the 20th of November for the period ending October 31st, maybe you will return to Above Standard.

I know you recently marked the above posting as the solution to this thread, but I just wanted to bring to your attention that some of the information above isn't correct.
From the Ebay Seller Performance standards.
The defect rate won't affect your seller performance status until you have transactions with defects with at least 5 different buyers, or at least 4 different buyers to impact Top Rated status, within your evaluation period.
https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/selling-policies/seller-performance-policy?id=4347
For the Service Metrics it is as follows:
If you are rated Very High in a category, but you had fewer than 10 'Item not as described' return requests from unique buyers, or your 'Item not as described' rate is under 1% in a specific category during the evaluation period, you will not be subject to consequences
