2nd Neutral Feedback

I've 100% positive feedback on 4 currently active accounts, totaling ~1200 items sold over 20+ years.  I recently received my second neutral feedback.  The buyer has not contacted me.  The first neutral was 3 years ago from a buyer complaining the (rare) item was too expensive, to which I didn't respond.  This second one complains about shipping the used tool part in used packaging. What is your suggestion on how to handle it?

The same way you handled the first neutral.

Who cares? Don't waste time on things that don't matter.

Ignore it (after first putting that numpty on your Blocked Buyer List). The Neutral donut will roll off the first page of your feedback soon enough, after which few people will notice the "1" in the Neutral row of your feedback count summary. You didn't give the exact wording of the Neutral comment, but it probably says more about the buyer than about you. (What sort of feedback has he left for others?)

Keep in mind also that your 100% rating is not affected by Neutrals.

Don't respond to the neutral.  That will just draw attention to it.

Move on to the next sale.

If it makes you feel any better, I like recycling. So... that's kind of like a Positive to me. 😊

I would not leave a comment on a neutral rating. That just calls attention to it. Neutrals have no affect on feedback scores, so it is a non-starter.

If you feel your buyer’s complaint needs a response, then i would contact them directly.

What kind of “used” packaging did you use? Was it an old food package?

I got a neutral yesterday morning that was obviously a positive. I clicked through to the buyer and found out that they did that extremely regularly. Big chains of neutrals with positive messages. I just blocked them and moved on with my life. By this morning the feedback was already on the second page and for some reason isn't even showing up as being in the last 30 days anymore, although you see it right there if you click on the last 6 months.

I would not request a revision, they could get annoyed and revise it to a negative.

For years I've had the Block Buyer as a toolbar bookmark in my browser.  It'd be nice if Ebay had a user toolbar as well.
