Has anybody else noticed how frequently Terapeak displays free shipping on listings that do not offer (and never did offer) free shipping?
It's not time-efficient for a seller to click on every listing to see if Terapeak is showing accurate price comparison data.

Yes. My listings show free shipping when they are not free shipping. Its been around for a long time and no one wants to fix it. I have heard from ebay customer folks I have mentioned it to, that it may depend on what platform you are viewing it on that causes the mislabeled shipping. I pretty much use android tablets now, and it always appears messed up/incorrectly as free shipping when it isnt, on android.

Are you referring to how they appear in Terapeak or how they appear on eBay in search @rugerskick?

@wastingtime101 I complained about this numerous times after ebay bought Terapeak, but ebay has never done anything about it and I finally decided it wasn't worth pursuing any further. Now when I use Terapeak, I just assume the shipping info might be wrong and I know not to rely on it. I wish I could rely on it, and if you want to pursue it, PLEASE, do so. Maybe ebay will finally fix it.
I've won some of my ebay battles, but after a while, the wisdom of "pick your battles wisely" wins out LOL

Thanks for pointing this out. Tested a couple on recent sales and 1 showed free shipping, when it was not.

Both, actually. Always in the search, but its also happened in terapeak.

Can you please check if a ticket is open for this one velvet@ebay with either the Terapeak team or the eBay tech team?

Hi @wastingtime101! I'm not seeing any open tickets. I'll reach out and see what I can find out though. Thanks for the tag!

Hello all! They've come back saying this:
Terapeak records transaction data. Not listing settings. If the buyer didn’t pay shipping, it will be recorded as free. Depending on the person viewing the listings, they may not see what other buyers see, due to their site or location.
They're also asking for some examples though, as they'd like to look into this further. If you have some of your own item numbers that you don't mind sharing here, they're requesting item numbers for listings that never had free shipping enabled, but are showing up as free shipping.

I was mostly looking at active listings velvet@ebay, not sold listings.
Any chance you can help out with some item numbers @my-cottage-books-and-antiques?

FWIW I encounter similar problems with "active" listings ("Free shipping when not free") and more ("item not found") to the point I really don't trust the "Research prices" link in the "Active Listings" tab anyway. Searching the item on ebay itself seems to be a lot more accurate.

I discovered something velvet@ebay.
When you're on the active listings page in seller hub and click the "research prices" link under your item price, that produces a pop-up with Terapeak results. Those results show free shipping.
When you go to the research tab in seller hub and click on "terapeak product research" and enter the exact same search terms that were used on the active listings page pop-up, the shipping cost is properly displayed.
The issue as far as I can tell has to do with the pop-up mini terapeak tool, but not the main tool from the research tab.

Thank you @wastingtime101 and @2013grotz! I'll provide that info back over to them and if any item numbers come through, I will send those on as well.

Thanks, Velvet. I hope the item numbers provided will help - they were from several different sellers.

Can you bring something else to the Terapeak team velvet@ebay?
The Terapeak pop-up accessed through the active listings page includes this filter:
The full blown Terapeak tool accessed through the research tab in seller hub does not include the extreme pricing filter. Can you ask the Terapeak team to add that check box to the full tool?
