Store Categories Question

I'm getting an error when I try to create store categories. 

"It’s not you. It’s us. Our server is down, but we’ll have things back to normal soon. If you still need help, visit our help pages"

I wanted to start a store specifically to organize items by category.  How long does it take for this to be fixed? It's been like this since I checked on Monday.
