Promotion not working

I got the extra free listing fee promotion. But even activated it still using my monthly free listings instead. Anyone having this problem

Your newest listings are not eligible for the promotion because they are fixed price format and the offer is only for auction-format listings (with or without a "Buy it now" option on the auction).
