Multi Variation Listing Tool

Trying to create Multi Variation listings, and can't use attribute "size" or  "color".  I see there has been problems in the past, anyone know what's going on now?

After 24 hrs I got it to work.

how did you do so.... I am going crazy trying to figure out why it even shows Size & Color as options but when we try to add it it shows 

This attribute isn't valid for this variation. Add a valid attribute.

Variation droplists are not allowed to use labels that are reserved for Item Specifics. Instead of the reserved labels "Size" and "Color", use "Sizes" and "Colors" or other similar terms that are not the same as any Item Specific label.
