Markdown Manager Help

Thanks for reading this!  I hope you can help.

I'm trying to use Markdown Manager to discount items.

I see other sellers have an item listed for $50 and take 20% off so the listing shows discounted price of $40 and says was $50.

When I try to use Markdown Manager it shows only the full price and if you happen to click on my listing there is a tiny little box at the box that says 30% off click here.  It would probably go unnoticed by buyers.

What am I doing wrong?

Your listing - Ralph Lauren Suede Tassel Loafer - is showing to me at 30% off in the index and it has a banner to see other marked-down items.
