Is there a way to update business type?

It's listed as sole proprietor/owner and I click edit but it only lets me confirm.  I was signing up for a multi member llc registered in Texas.

The page only shows: 

Confirm your account type

Confirm your business type

Sole proprietor or owner

This means you're selling under your own name, not as a registered business.

I've called ebay support and chatted but nobody seems to be able to help me.  How do I fix this to charge sales tax and make sure my tax forms don't get messed up?

Have you signed up for Managed Payments? If not, when you start a new listing, you should be diverted to the enrollment process that also asks that you confirm your business type.
