It's a little weird that I'm trying to track something I bought and it takes me to random pages on expensive clothes. The latest one is an orange purse going for over $1000. I'm a little confused because if I go on Google, depending on what site I use to track, it will either say that it's an invalid or uncommon number or that it's too early to track and there's no data for it. Does this happen to anyone else?

Maybe if you tell us the shipping company, tracking number, and the date you purchased the item ... we might be able to offer useful information.
With only the facts you gave us ... we don't know whether it's a tracking problem, seller problem, shipping company problem, or buyer problem.
I personally go to the website of the shipping company to track a package, as I know their info is the most recent and accurate.

Sorry, I was just asking in general.
ID18051242189371CN. Apparently from ontrac ? When I put it in with their website it says: not found, hasn't been received by the system. Using eBay it brings me to bid on a purse. Google will say 'carrier not found' or unknown, basically the same as the ontrac site.

I know it's scary when tracking doesn't work for whatever reason, especially on an expensive item. Something to keep in mind though that tracking is for the seller to prove delivery.
You are covered by the ebay MBG. Just file a claim after the last expected delivery date.
You have 30 dates from the last expected delivery date to file an item not received claim on ebay so I'd give it at week extra at least for postal service delays.
