Help: old message inbox

I have a problem: my desktop message inbox has reverted to the old model. I don't see an option to go back to the newer model, this is very important to me.

There was a trial for a new "chat" version of eBay messages, which was working last week, and that trial version is no longer accessible to me. Perhaps eBay had to disable it due to some bug that must be fixed.

I was using this new version about 4 months ago, but today I went back to the old version with no explanations.

That's why I think eBay found a bug or vulnerability and suddenly switched back. They'll fix whatever was the issue, and then it will probably be available again.
