Getting Ebay Subscription

When I get an eBay subscription does it make a new account or keep the same account? It asks me to make a name for my eBay account when I want to get a subscription. Thanks

It's been a minute since I had a store, but when I signed up for it (waaay back then) I continued to use my old account. I did have the option to add a store name, though.

A store subscription will be added to your existing account and will automatically move your existing listings into your store.  If you close your store, your listings will remain and appear under your seller name.

As @mtgraves7984  mentioned, you do have the option to choose a new name for your store that is different from your seller name, but it is advisable to keep the same name for continuity.   If you think you need a different store name, then it is best to settle on the name you want for your store prior to subscribing to a store because your store URL will be set at that point and it is difficult to get a matching URL if you change your store name later.
