File-Exchange C:Brand German Localization

I have problems with using the specific C: Brand attribute when I upload the file to the German site.

The file contains motorcycle spare parts products and motorcycle clothing.

It seems different category use different localization like

• parts and accessory:  C:Hersteller
• motorcycle clothing: C:Marke

If I use C:Brand i've got error in both categories.

Can you post a screenshot showing the headers in your spreadsheet and the values that you have entered underneath?

I remember encountering that discrepancy when trying to scrape item specifics from listings.

You might download the item specifics template for your category on the DE site.

Log into the Reports section of the DE Seller Hub and download the template.

What I mean is that in the German localization the C: Brand attribute is requested with different headings depending on the category. This thing happens only for the German site, for the other states the header of this attribute is unique.

My question is:
is there a unique header I can use for this attribute or am I forced to submit a file for each category with different headers?

Yes, I think you need to use the headers that eBay requires for the DE site.  It's pretty simple to download the spreadsheets for the various category numbers, and I believe the heading differences will appear between true motors hardware and the clothing and gear that could otherwise be posted to the core site.

C:Hersteller =  C:Manufacturer

C:Marke =  C:Brand

The Motors hardware categories require both Manufacturer (C:Hersteller) and MPN (C:Herstellernummer) , as indicated but the asterisks in the header row; whereas the clothing and protective gear are more typical of the core site and look for Brand (C:Marke) , without mandating it. While it might be possible to add the C:Marke column to the spreadsheet displayed in your post, and move your clothing brand to that header, it might be a better idea to split it into two spreadsheets to better address the item specifics.

I solved it by inserting both headers

C:Hersteller =  C:Manufacturer

C:Marke =  C:Brand
