I use several spreadsheet bulk file exchanges. All are automated processes. All but one work as they should.
The exception a the Price-Qty upload format used to close listings when items have sold outside of eBay, which had been flakey but now has ceased to upload at all. My data base writes a tab delimited file. Previously, it was flakey in that sometimes the CSV file extension would work, sometimes not. Sometimes the TXT file extension would work, sometimes not. And since asking for help from eBay on this on 29 Aug, NEITHER work.
The contents of the file is identical in all cases, and has worked just fine in the past once I get the file extension of the moment right.
eBay support is, well, lacking. I've spoken with multiple agents this PM to follow up on this. They drop the line, claim their "tools" have locked up, etc etc. Pretty bad.
Any suggestion as to how to get thru to the missile silo at eBay that may be competent in this regard?
