Adding pictures when using REVISE template in File Exchange

Hello,

I've been learning how to use File Exchange for bulk ADDS and bulk REVISE. When using REVISE and adding a new variation (sports card sets with each card being a variation), I have no problem adding the new item. Problem is trying to add a picture to that that is hosted on Postimages. I added a PicURL column and then entered the picture's url for that card, but isn't showing up on the listing. Any help would be great.

Thanks

Tracy

REALLY weird - in continuing research via other community postings, I find an entry by "ducks2k" (sound familiar?) https://community.ebay.com/t5/Archive-File-Exchange/revising-with-file-exchange/td-p/1619736/page/2  in which I describe success with precisely this situation, with precisely this csv file structure.  Of course, this post was dated 15 years ago in 2007 and I have absolutely no recollection of doing it way back then.  I was dealing with auction listings then as opposed to fixed-price store items, and vast amounts of infrastructure have been redone since then, but still............

@ducks2k

eBay does keep an internal record of your external URL. If you alter the image on your website and keep the same URL, eBay thinks it already has that picture and won't fetch it again. To make that URL look different, append a "?" to the end of the URL. Your server will correctly respond to that request.

If you find yourself repeating the request, each might need to be different. Examples: ?1, ?2 ?3, ?abc, ?456, etc. Or if you are keeping track, you can simply add the "?", and then remove, and then add, remove, etc, for each repeat, since eBay remembers only the most recent URL.
