return shipping label

I'm having trouble returning my order. The seller didn't provide me with a barcode label. I had to make one myself. I sent the item back to him, but I can't add tracking information to the order. I don't understand how to add tracking information to the order.

Are there real people on eBay that I can talk to?!" Smart assistant" not very smart... I ordered a call from an agent, the phone started ringing, I answered and that's it... dial tone without a conversation. I spoke with an eBay transport agent, and he explained to me that this wasn't their problem.

Did you file the return claim in eBay?  Wat reason did you check off for the return?  Or did you just contact the seller for a label?

Yes, my friend. I filed a return request. The seller accepted it, but I didn't receive a barcode label... The seller sent me a lost item with his name and address and our transaction details... I spent two weeks banging my head on "customer support" but didn't receive anything intelligible in response. I had to make a label myself through eBay and send the item... The problem is that I can't add tracking to my order, but I gave the tracking information to the seller.

You're in Portugal, where was the seller located?  If a US seller, they did not use ebay's international shipping program?

Since you bought the postage, you need to upload the tracking.  Go to the return page and do that.  Or are you saying there is no place to enter the tracking?

So to recap:  What you received was not what you ordered.  You opened an NAD case by going to this transaction in your Purchase History and clicking "want to return".  Under "reason" you clicked on item not as described.  From that time, your seller had 3days to send you a prepaid return label.  On day #4. if that had not happened, you needed to return to the case and request that eBay step in.  You would have been told to keep the item and eBay would have refunded you from the buyer's money.

If you followed the appropriate procedure as detailed in the MBG, there was no need to make your own label .  It's possible that you may've wiped out the possibility of being refunded.

What does it mean when you say the seller sent you a lost item?

There is no place to enter tracking information on the returns page.

It's not a lost item, but a document with the seller's name...sorry for the misunderstanding.

Best is to contact eBay boards in Europe and ask how buyers return items between  European seller/buyers.  When US sellers are involved it is pretty basic and straightforward when following the steps...and extremely easy if sold through  ebay's international shipping program.

My initial thought is you didn't file the return request correctly, the seller doesn't accept returns and therefore there is no place to enter the  return tracking because a return isnt allowable...double check all that
