Is the seller located in the US?
Have you filed for a return through Ebay or just contacted the seller?
You can return to the case on day 4 and ask Ebay to step in.

I have spoken to Ebay by phone (twice) to request the label. Have not received it yet. Unable to connect with Seller via Ebay site. The company is in the US. Thank you.

You need to file the actual return case through eBay on the listing you want to return and be refunded. Messaging the seller or calling ebay will NOT do anything for you. Go to the actual listing you bought, and file a return case. You need to do it within 30 days, so watch your timing. Then if the seller doesn't send you a return label within 4 days, you can ask eBay to step in (through the return you filed, NOT by calling) to get your refund.

To be refunded from ANY eBay seller, no matter where they're located, you have to open an ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED CASE as advised by the other poster. Phone calls do not accomplish anything.
Have you read eBay's Money Back Guarantee for buyers?

Hi @xyloph_52
You've had this account for only 3 days ... so I assume that you must have purchased the item as a 'guest'. That means that you would have had to open the 'return request' from the confirmation email you received after purchasing the item. Did you do that?
Talking to eBay reps on the phone is NOT an efficient way to go through a claim. It's best to use eBay's automated processes, as they almost alway lead to the buyer getting refunded quickly and easily.
We just need to figure out where in the return process you are now ... like if you have even started the return process officially.
