Hi
I have had a custmer return an item as does not fit, which is impossible as it's a vinyl record. Does the does not fit apply to as he put it 'DOES NOT FIT MY PURPOSE'?
The item was described correctly and he has no problem with that so where do i stand?
Thanks

Since you don't accept returns, 'doesn't fit' is a 'remorse' return which you can simply deny. Doesn't really matter the 'reason' doesn't make sense.

unfortunately i missed the option in my returns policy this is still marked as an option

Not sure what you mean- do you mean you missed 'responding' to the 'return request'?

sorry i had automatic returns on and he choose the does not fit because he just didn't want it. The item was described correctly and sent in time. Just angry that he has used the does not fit because he has decided he does not want the item.

in fairness he will have to pay for the return

If it's either your "Playaz4Real" or "BLUR" listings, those show 'No Returns'... so a remorse reason could've be denied.
You speak in the past tense, as if the buyer has already returned your item. If they have, issue the refund and relist.

^^^ Correct for a remorse Return. For what it's worth, I find that if an item sells once, it will again. Good luck.

it was the blur listing, he has only just started the return. I have now changed my return policies.

from what I saw, you had 'no returns' on that listing so it would not be automated.

Not in the US; they don't automate if you have 'no returns'. Maybe in the UK?
