on 12/27/21 I went on eBay website as a guest buyer and purchased a starter for a toro snowblower. A dealer by the name Paul Leider sold me this item which did not match the item I needed, I requested a refund from this seller but he closed the account and has never responded to my e-mails. I have tried contacting eBay personal and they have beef unwilling to help me by refunding my money under their thirty days money back guarantee. Even though I have paid to return the item purchased for $189.30 plus $11.80 for returning the item purchased. As of today neither the seller nor eBay are willing to work with me for a refund even though the item has been returned to the seller, who now has my money plus the item which he can turn and sell it again to someone lose. This is unfair to me who enter an eBay website trusting that they will do the right thing when working with sellers and buyers on their website. I have been unable to get any resolution to my requests for refund attempting to work with both parties since 12/27/21 when I made the purchase, it is shameful that eBay works with these type of unscrupulous seller to rob people out of their money. I wish that someone reading this information will step up to the plate and take some action on behalf of this guest buyer to get a refund since this is the first time using eBay to make a purchase which has been the worst experience I have ever had in my 67 years as a customer. I never thought that these websites were so unscrupulous helping sellers steal money from customers especially the elder population, it is a shameful way to do business with people. I will continue trying to get help to resolve this issue with eBay and Paul Leider an unscrupulous dealer stealing money from people like me if you are reading this please assist if at all possible thank you.

You can file an item not as described case at Paypal, you have six months to file there. Ebay has an iron clad money back guarantee criteria, sounds like because the item didnt fit, this was a remorse return, which was not accepted. No seller can close their account that quickly, Ebay suspended him.If PP cant help you, and you paid by cc, you can also try them for a chargeback.

Read up on how the MBG works here on eBay, the buyer is 100% protected so long as procedure is followed.
NEVER just return an item without opening a case first and following the directions you are given.
NEVER contact eBay CS without first using the tools eBay have given you for protection ie: MBG
STOP contactng the seller and eBay and follow 'bonjouami' advice above.
