Product doesn’t work

I bought a cricut from eBay Commerce Inc. it does not work. I’ve tried several times to get this issue resolved and no success.  I’m becoming verrry discouraged with ebay. If I can’t get this taken care of I will be out $227.93. Please tell me how I can at least get someone to respond to me.

Re: Product doesn’t work

How long ago did you buy it? You bought from an independent seller using eBays platform to sell on, not eBay. We are buyers and sellers here on the community forums so can't see anything more than your feedback (public information) and don't see any feedback less then 1 year old. If it was bought over a year ago, sorry but at this point there is not much that can be done. If less than that, more information would be needed for anyone here to offer suggestions.

I am a little confused by what you bought and are calling it (not that that really has a bearing on the timeline).

Re: Product doesn’t work

Have you tried filing a SNAD case on it with eBay?

How old is the transaction?

What is the eBay Commerce Network?

Re: Product doesn’t work

eBay Commerce seems to be some kind of advertising network.  Can someone explain it better?

Is it used on all channels or just eBay?

Re: Product doesn’t work

It was purchased on Oct. 3 2022 for my granddaughters Birthday. While being in RN school and busy she just found time a couple of weeks ago to use it. At first it would not come on. She researched on line, tried that the the light came on. Now all it dose is the light blink and nothing else.

What happened when you applied he EBay MBG? I don’t understand why it wouldn’t have worked.

What matters is the day it was received.

You have 30 days from that date to file an INAD through Ebay.

If it's been longer then that, open a case through Pay Pal, but you'll have to pay return shipping.

Have a great day.

Yes and they said to contact the seller first.

As Ken says, you can open a Return if it's been 30 days or less since receipt, and we don't know what that date was.
Can you go to your Purchase History and find the order? Do you have a big, blue 'Return this item' button next to it?

On PayPal, eBay Commerce Inc. is the seller, and it's them that will issue your refund.

Unfortunately @joyfeldner we don't know how eBay works, that's why we've been giving you nonsense answers. You're beyond the 30 days after delivery to start a return request at eBay, but you have 180 days (click here) at PayPal. As you see, eBay requires PayPal to get proof that you touched eBay (using hand sanitizer afterwards just in case) before PayPal asks for 10 pages of answers to file a case for a refund, including:

-- Choose the issue you're facing

-- Select the items you want to report

-- Tell us a bit more about the problem (with photos)

-- Provide other details (not allowed to be brief)

-- Add documents to support your case

Following that, eBay is given 10 calendar days (ending at the same hour and minute when the case was filed) to request that you pay trackable return shipping on the not-your-fault defective cricut, to get a refund.

But do this first, if you have time for the return request (on which you're past 30 days) at eBay, then an hour to spare scavenging for the photos and documents to upload to PayPal. Or you can make one phone call to your card issuer to explain the defective merchandise (and get a provisional refund the same day or the next day) while your card issuer goes after eBay for the refund, likely with no return needed.

Are lyrics like *Sweet potato pie and I shut my mouth* worthy of 41 number one hits?
