I purchased a fairly expensive Alice in Wonderland music box from a newer seller. When it arrived, it was pretty much shattered. The music box is porcelain, but had been wrapped in tissue paper, and the box filled in partially with paper and plastic string. After a bit of hassle, I was able to return the item for a refund.
I got a message from the seller this morning demanding that I return the "music box that she sent me." The one I sent back is the one she sent me. She insists that they have different serial numbers. I think she has another music box and is trying to cheat me. I took pictures of the broken item, but didn't think to take a picture of the bottom showing the serial number. I don't know what to do. This hasn't happened to me before.

I would reply ONCE that the seller must be mistaken, and that is the item you received. I would not respond to any further requests from the seller.

Ignore the messages. If the seller hasn't refunded you by the time you can ask eBay to step in, do it. You'll be made whole.
