Purchased 3 items in one transaction, but I need to return them because they are not what was described. The return was accepted and they sent one label for one item through ebay and provided the tracking number and packing slip, but for the other two items sent a link to the same label with no packing slip. From what I understand from reading other posts here is that each item needs to have its own shipping label? Should I send the two items with the same label in one package or could the seller come back and say that I didn't ship the item back? Or do I need to contact the seller and ask for another label?
I'm feeling a little sketched out because they listed the items in very good condition and they pretty much sent me garbage. And now they sent me one label for two items, and if I wasn't paying attention I could have gotten in trouble for sending out the items separately with identical labels. Want to get some advice from other users before reaching out to the seller or ebay. Thanks in advance! d

How did you receive them? Did they all come together? One at a time?

I would ship them back the way you received them.

I got all 3 at one time in the same package.

If they all came in the same package, they can all return the same way.

I always play it safe.
I would put the same tracking number on each item even if it is the same tracking number in the same box.

Even though all 3 items were shipped in one package @episkeymart THEIR RETURN DEPENDS on if you
-- So which is it,
-- how many return requests did you start,
-- and it sounds like you'll need at least 1 more return label.

It was 3 different listings, purchased on one transaction. They all shipped in the same package. I had to initiate 3 separate returns (it wouldnt let me do all at once)
So I do need to ask for a third label?

You need to ask for a second and a third return label. Each return label triggers its own prorated refund for your order from 3 separate listings. If you return everything with just that one label (or its copy you were sent a link for the second and third items) -- you will only get a refund for the first item.
Contact the seller one last time @episkeymart to issue separate return labels for the second and the third returns.
Otherwise, leave a PRIVATE message here about the second and third return requests, to say that you did not get those return labels.

I didn't know this is how it worked, and sent all 3 packages (3 separate listings) back in the one parcel with only 1 of the 3 labels on the outside, but all 3 packing slips inside. Now I am only getting refunded for one item apparently. Can I just send empty parcels for the other two with their labels to get the rest of my refund? The seller will receive everything back in the first parcel I sent.

This thread is over 2 years old. Whomever you are asking the question to is probably no longer following this thread.
Separate listings purchased in one payment is still separate listings and a return should be opened for each individual item.
If you didn’t open returns for each item you purchased you are out of luck being refunded for the other 2 items because you shipped in one package. Sending empty parcels won’t get you a refund since the return already closed since you were refunded.
You could try to work it out with the seller.
